Daniel Thistlethwaite, M.D.

A 1987 graduate of WVU School of Medicine,
Dr. Thistlethwaite entered private practice in 1991 and
has actively been involved in forensic psychiatry as well
as maintaining a general psychiatric practice since that
time. He has participated on the national speaker's
bureau for CME, Inc., and was the past Chief of
Psychiatry for Thomas Memorial Hospital. Currently he
is co-medical director of the forensic unit at the South
Central Regional Jail, and is a consultant to WV
Department of Corrections and Salem Juvenile
Correctional Facility. Dr. Thistlethwaite holds the
